Exciting News! We’re working to set up a contributor feed so more travel stories make their way to the website and community! If you are interested in participating, shoot me a note!
Assumptions, Rearranged
You grow up assuming the way things work where you're from is just how things work everywhere, until you go somewhere else and realize how untrue that is. That moment — the one where your assumptions quietly rearrange themselves — is the whole reason I travel, and it's what this site is built around.
This isn't a "top 10 things to do" kind of blog. Every post here pairs a real trip with the history and culture behind it, so you leave knowing not just what to eat and where to stand for the photo, but why the place is the way it is. Expect food tours (there's always a food tour), a fair amount of walking, and the occasional questionable decision involving ants or white water. Scroll down for the blog, the photo gallery, and more on why I do this in the first place.
